A daily cleaning of the L-Platter, including both scan
windows (horizontal and vertical) will help to main-
tain top scanning and weighing performance.
There is no need to turn off or unplug the unit during
cleaning (the scanner/scale operates on low voltage
power), making this task more convenient.

LEANING ATERIALS
Windows and other exterior surfaces should be
cleaned using a mild, water-based, nonabrasive
window cleaner. Take care to avoid scratching
the windows.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL, ACETONE, ABRASIVE
CLEANING AGENTS OR ABRASIVE PADS.

Regular cleaning of the scanner's horizontal and
vertical scan windows will prevent residue
buildup and help ensure the highest perfor-
mance possible. Use a mild, water-based glass
cleaner to polish the scanner windows and
L-Platter.
1. Dampen a soft cloth or tissue with the
window cleaning solution.
2. Wipe all top surfaces of the L-Platter and
scan windows clean.
