ACTION
Use the Debind Feature to take the document apart, Rebind the document
being careful to place the small hole in the receivingstrip on the Locating
Pin
Check the position of the Bind Edge Guide. It may need to be readjustedto
ensure that the document's ho}es line up with the receiving strip.
The best way to check the machine is to bind without paper. if the bind is
good, no service can is necessary.
Call your local Service Representative if you are unable to locate the cause
of the problem.
Choose a strip with longer pins. Strips are available in pin lengths of II , 2",
and 3" (25mm, 51 mm, 75mm).
Call your local Service Representative.
Check the rear power piug and the walt socket to be sure that all
connections are tight.
The equipment will not operate if the Debris Tray is not fully seated. Push
the tray back until the Tray Ajar light goes off.
Cali your focal Service Representative if you are unable to locate the cause
of the problem.
Bind documents on > 1" (>25mm) rather than
Push tray in and out until it pulls out free}y. Empty the Debris Tray more
often,
Place small hole on receiving strip on the Locating Pin in the left hand side
of the Strip Recess.Check the alignment of the Bind Edge Guide.
Make sure the pinned strip is pulled off immediately after strip is heated
during debind process.
Be sure to pull the pinned strip, not the receiving strip, away from the
document.
Make sure you use a twisting motion when cutting each rivet.
Change the razor blade in your Debinder Tool.
