Usingthe DebinderTool:
Another method for debinding is
the Debinder Tod, which is
packaged free with all systems.
Additional Debinder Tools and
replacement blades are also
available.
I. Place the document face down
on a fiat surface. The strip
shouid be at your right with the
formed rivet heads up.
2. Holding the document in place
with the left hand and using the
Debinder with the right hand,
insert the blade between the
strip and the document cover.
Make certain that the
Debinder is snug against the
right edge of the document
to provide shearing leverage.
Pull the Debinder toward you
until it contacts the first stud.
3. With the Debinder snug against
the right side of the document
and continuing to pull toward
you, swing the handle of the
Debinder to the right, away
from the document. This
automaticaiiy shears the first
stud.
4. Move the Debinder to the next
stud, swing to shear, pull to the
next stud, swing to shear, pull
to the next stud and so on. For
rapid debinding, the Debinder
can be pulled toward the user
in one continuous motion after
the first stud has been
sheared. Extreme caution
should be used when
practicing this method.
5. Remove the plastic strips and
debinding is complete.
6. Replace the Debinder blade
when it becomes dull.

Debinders o lame per Debinder.
1. Appoggiare ii documento su
una superficie piana con ia
striscia sulla destra e con la
testa dei ribattini rivofta verso
Italto.
2. Tenendo fermo .il documento
suga superficie con Ja mano
sinistra e l'attrezzo separatore
nella destra, inserire la iama
tra Ia striscia e Ia copertina dei
documento. Accenarsi Che io
strumento sia ben appoggiato
sul bordo destro del
documento per far leva e per
tagliare gli aghi. Tirare to
strumento verso sé sino
toccare il primo perno.
3. Tenendo 10 strumento bene
appoggiato sul lato destro del
documento e continuando
tirare verso sé, ruotare il
manico verso destrat
allontanandolo dal documento.
Con questo movimento si
taglia il primo perno.
Spostare rattrezzo sul perno

successivo, ruotare ii manico
per tagliare perno, spostare
nuovamente rattrezzo sul
perno successivo, ruotare il
manico per tagliare il perno e
cosi di seguito sino ad aver
tagliato tutti i perni, Per
separare piü rapidamente
documento, dopo aver tagliato
i! primo perno l'operatore puö
tirare verso sé rattrezzo
separatore con movimento
continuo. Eseguire
quest'uitima operazione con
estrema cautela.
5. Rimuovere Ia striscia di
plastica per completare la
separazione del documento.
6. Sostituire la lama deliiattrezzo
separatore quando é
smussata.
