PUNCHING
1. Selecting the "AUTO PUNCH"
button allows you to punch in
the automatic mode, by sliding
the paper against the Punch
Edge Guide to activate the
automatic trigger switch. It also
allows you to punch by pressing
the footpedal. If you choose not
to punch in the 'Auto Punch
mode, switch back to the
'Manual Punch" mode by
pressing the "AUTO PUNCH'
button. Then place the paper
fully in the punch throat and
press the "PUNCH" button.
2. To prevent jamming, only 25
sheets of bond paper
should be punched at one time
(fewer sheets if the paper is
heavier). Punch one 25 sheet
segment of your document at a
time and stack the punched
sections on the binding
surface. Do not punch more
than 4 regency covers or 3
transparent covers at one time.
3. Remember to lay each
punched segment of your
document on the binding
surface as you work.
Preassembling your document
on another surface can cause
binding problems due to
improper location of the
receiving strip (not on the
Locating Pin).
BINDING
If you are just turning on the
machine at this point, you will
need to wait for the machine to
warm up. Do not attempt to bind
until the yefiow "STANDBY" light
has gone off and the green
"READY" light is on.

Non procedere alla rilegatura sino

si sia spento e si sia acceso
