Performing a function test
Personnel:
Protective equipment:
1.
Manually activate all systems and circuits and check the spraying pattern of the
nozzles.
Pay particular attention to the following:
n
Check for accumulation of dirt and foreign material
n
Check that required applicator function is set
n
Check functioning of solenoid valves
n
Check and, if necessary, clean nozzles and filters
n
Check the suction line for correct function (strainer and valve at lower input port,
protective cap)
n
Check suction and pressure valves on the pump
n
Check functioning of the return hose from the pressure relief valve.
The hose must have a free downward gradient.
n
Check that the suction and pressure circuit connections are leak free.
2.
In automatic mode, pull the suction lance out of the product canister until a pre-
warning or empty signal is displayed on the screen for the corresponding product.
ð A fault message appears on the display.
ð The system shuts down.
3.
Check the alarm history for systematically recurring faults and problems.
