8.3.3.2 Network settings
The 'setup: communication' screen is used to set the parameters for the Ethernet
interface (IP, subnet mask and router IP).
Starting point: Screen 'Setup: Selection'

Press [setup communication].

Get IP-Adres
ð The 'setup: communication' screen opens.
The following information can be entered:
n
IP address
n
Subnet mask
n
Router address
Specify IP address

Enter the data in the fields to the right of the 'Set IP-Adres' button, then press [Set
IP-Adres].
ð The data entered is applied.
Get IP address from router
3.
Press [Get IP-Adres].
ð The IP address is retrieved from the router and entered in the fields to the right of
the 'Get IP-Adres' button.
4.
Press [not active] next to the 'releases via Ethernet' field.
ð The display changes to 'active' .
ð The enable signal is transferred to the control unit via Ethernet.
The following information and settings can be made or accessed:
- Back to the 'start screen.'
