The KNAUER Net
The photometer can be combined with further instruments from
KNAUER in a digital ring connection scheme, enabling control of these
instruments by the KNAUER EuroChrom software. The external
software control is subject of the following chapter.

All devices are connected in a token ring in the following way: The first
RS 232 interface (the upper one) of the first device is connected to the
second RS 232 interface (the lower one) of the next device and so on.
The ring is closed by connecting the RS 232 interface of the last device
to the free interface of the first one.
