The stated vibration emission value was
measured in accordance with a standard
testing procedure and may be used to com-
pare one power tool to another.
The stated vibration emission value may
also be used for a preliminary exposure
assessment.
Warning: The vibration emission
value may differ during actual use
of the power tool from the stated value de-
pending on the manner in which the power
tool is used.
Try to keep the exposure to vibrations as
low as possible. Examples of measures to
reduce vibration exposure are the wearing
of gloves when using the tool and limiting
the working hours. All parts of the operat-
ing cycle are to be taken into account in
this (for example times in which the electric
tool is turned off and those in which even
though it is turned on, it is not running un-
der a load).
Notes on safety
This section deals with the basic safety regula-
tions while working with the garden pruner.
A garden pruner is a dangerous
piece of equipment that can cause
serious or even fatal injuries if used
incorrectly or carelessly. Therefore,
for your safety and the safety of
others, always observe the follow-
ing safety instructions and ask an
expert for advice if you are unsure.

Symbols used on the saw
Before working with the cordless
garden pruner, familiarise yourself
with all the controls. Practise han-
dling the device (by cutting logs to
size on a sawhorse) and have the
functionality, mode of action, saw-
ing techniques and personal safety
equipment explained to you by an
experienced user or an expert.
Read and take note of the operat-
ing manual belonging to the ma-
chine
Wear protective goggles.
Always use the chainsaw with both
hands.
Beware of chainsaw kickback
and avoid touching the guide rail
tip.
Remove the battery prior to ser-
vicing the appliance.
Do not expose the unit to rain. The
device must not be wet, nor should
it be operated in a moist environ-
ment.
