4. Mount chain bar (11), chainsaw (12)
and sprocket chain wheel covering (9)
and tighten the chainsaw.
Turning the blade bar
Use cut-resistant gloves when work-
ing with the saw chain or with the
blade bar.
The blade bar (11) needs to be reversed
regularly after a working time of about 10
hours in order to ensure even wear.
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery (
14) from the device.
2. Remove the sprocket cover (9), saw
chain (12) and blade bar (11).
3. Turn the blade bar around its horizon-
tal axis and install the blade bar and
chain as described under "Installing the
saw chain and blade bar".
When doing so, pay attention to the
correct rotation direction of the saw
chain!
Use the graphical symbol above the chain
sprocket (17) as a guide to align the saw
chain (12) when the blade bar is rotated.
The illustrated direction of travel on the
blade bar is no longer true.

• Clean the equipment before putting it
away.
• Put on saw bar protection sheath.
• Store the appliance in a dry place well
out of reach of children
Waste disposal
and environmental
protection
Take the rechargeable battery out of the
device and recycle the device, used oil,
accessories and packaging in an environ-
mentally friendly manner. Instruction on
how to dispose of the rechargeable battery
and charger can be found in the separate
instruction manual.
Machines do not belong with do-
mestic waste.
• Before disposal, remove batteries from
the device fi rst.
• Hand the device and the charger in to
a recycling point.
• Do not dispose of used oil in the sew-
age system or drains. Dispose of used
oil in an environmentally correct man-
ner - bring it to a waste disposal center.
• Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.
