The APSS is the circuit to enable an automatic
detection of the starting position of each pro-
gram in a pre-recorded tape.

permet

Note:
1. When
such
tapes
as described
below
are
used, the APSS may not function normally,
causing tapes to stop in the midway
of a
program
or
to
overrun.

* Tapes which contain intermittent-sound
programs
such
as conversation,
lecture
and news, etc.
Tapes which contain pianissimo-featured
classical
music,
solo
performance
modern jazz or music that has much of
dumb notes.
Tapes whose recording level is !ow (less
than —15 VU) throughout the programs.
Tapes
which
have
a very
short
time
interval between recorded programs (less
than approximately
3 seconds).
Most
commercially
available
popular
pre-
recorded cassettes will be suitable.
* Tapes
which
have
too
high
level
of
mixed
noise or hum between programs.
2. Being a highly sensitive circuit, the APSS
may
not display its proper function when
placed near the electrical appliances having
powerful
magnetic
field such as TV, etc.
Therefore,
make
the APSS
as apart from
the said appliances as possible when operat-
ing it.
3. Do not depress the forward
APSS key nor
reverse APSS key during recording.
4. Small
sound may
come
out of the speaker
during
APSS
operating
(with
the
tape
running rapidly)
—
however
this does not
mean a trouble.

1. Bei Verwendung der nachstehend
beschrie-
benen
Bander
kann
es
vorkommen,
da&
das
automatische
Programmsuchsystem
nicht
normal
funktioniert
und
das
Band
in der
Mitte
eines
Programms
zum
Still-
stand
kommt,
oder
ber
den
Leerstelle
zwischen den Programmen hinauslauft.
* Bander,
die
Programme
mit
zeitweilig
aussetzenden
Tonen
enthalten, wie z.B.
Unterhaltungen,
Vorlesungen,
Nach-
richten usw.
* Bander,
die
klassische
Musik
mit
Pia-
nissimos, modernen
Jazz mit Solos oder
Musik
mit
zuviel
dumpfen
Tdnen
enthalten.
* Bander, deren Aufnahmepegel

Bander,
die
zwischen
den
aufgenom-
menen
Programmen
ein

kurzes
Zeitinterval
(weniger

ungefahr

Sekunden) aufweisen.
Die
meisten
im
Handel
erhaltlichen
bespielten Cassetten sind geeignet.
Bander, die zwischen den Programmen
einen
zu
hohen
Mischgerdusch-
oder
Brummpegel haben.
2. Da es sich um
eine auRerordentlich
emp-
findliche
Schaltung
handelt,
kann
es vor-
kommen,
da
das automatische
Programm-
suchsystem
nicht einwandfrei
funktioniert,
wenn
das Gerat
in der Nahe von
Elektro-
geraten, wie z.B. einem
Fernsehempfanger
usw., aufgestellt wird.
Bei
Betrieb des automatischen
Programm-
suchsystems
solfte das Gerdt
daher
még-
lichst
weit
von
den
erwadhnten
Geraten
entfernt aufgestellt werden.
3. Driicken
Sie
wéahrend
einer
Aufnahme
weder
die Vorlauf-
noch
Ricklauf-APSS-
Taste.
4. Wahrend
des
Betriebs
des automatischen
Programmsuchsystems (bei schnellem Band-
lauf) kann
es vorkommen,
daf§ die Klang-
wiedergabe
Uber die Lautsprecher
erfolgt.
Dies
ist jedoch
nicht das Anzeichen
einer
Betriebsstdérung.

Lorsqu'on
utilise des bandes comme
celles
décrites ci-dessous, il se peut que !'APSS ne
fonctionne pas normalement et que la bande
s'arréte
au
milieu
d'un
enregistrement
ou
qu'elle 'saute' un segment de non-enregistre-
ment entre deux programmes.
* Bandes contenant des sons intermittents:
conversations,
conférences et nouvelles,
etc.
Bandes
contenant
de Ja musique classi-
que avec des passages en pianissimo, des
soli de jazz moderne
ou de la musique
présentant
de
nombreuses
notes
trés
faibles.
Bandes
dont le niveau d'enregistrement
est faible (moins de —15 VU) sur toute
la longueur de programme.
Bandes
présentant
des
intervalles
trop
brefs
entre
les enregistrements
(moins
de 3 secondes).
Les
cassettes
pré-enregistées
courantes,
les
plus
commercialement
connues,
seront appropriées a ce systéme.
* Bandes comportant des bruits confus ou
des bourdonnements
entre deux enregi-
strements consécutifs,
Le
circuit
APSS
étant trés sensible,
il ne
peut fonctionner correctement s'il est placé
& proximité
d'appareils
électriques
généra-
teurs
d'un
champ
magnétique
puissani
(téléviseurs, etc.).
Lorsqu'on
veut utiliser
V'APSS,
il faut donc
I'éloigner
autant que
possible de tels appareils ....

parleur pendant
