NOTE
During battery charging, all machine functions
are disabled, even if the ignition key is inserted
all the way.
WARNING
The battery fitted on the machine has been
designed and manufactured for this type of use,
therefore:- do not disconnect or remove the
batteries from their housings;
- do not replace the batteries with non-original
ones;
- do not perform any work which is not mentioned
in this manual.In the event a problem with the
batteries, please contact your Dealer.
8.3 ANTI-CHIPPING WHEELS (ONLY FOR
MODELS OF TYPE "I" AND "II")
The different heights of the wheels allow you to
maintain a safe distance "H" between the cutting-
means assembly and the ground (fig. 19.A).
Adjust the position of the anti-chipping wheels
according to how irregular the ground is.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This should always be performed on both wheels,
positioning them at the same height, with the
machine off.
To change the position:
1. Unscrew and remove the screw (fig. 19.B).
2. Reposition the wheel (fig. 19.A) with the
spacer ( fig. 19.C) inside the hole at the
desired distance.
3. Tighten firmly the screw (fig. 19.B) in the nut
(fig. 19.D).
8.4 CLEANING
Clean thoroughly following the instructions below
every time it is used.
8.4.1 Cleaning the machine
• Clean the outside of the machine washing
the plastic parts of the bodywork with a damp
sponge using water and detergent, being
careful not to get the electric motors, the
battery and the electrical system components
wet.
• To reduce fire hazards, keep the motor and the
battery compartment free of grass, leaves, or
excessive grease.
• Keep the push-button panel and traction
control manipulator guard free from dirt and
debris.
WARNING
Never use high-pressure water or aggressive
liquids to wash the bodywork and electric motors.
8.4.2 Cleaning the cutting-means
assembly
Clean the cutting-means assembly thoroughly to
remove any grass remains or debris.
CAUTION
Keep people or animals away from the
surrounding area when cleaning the cutting-
means assembly .
a. Cleaning the interiors
WARNING
When washing the inside of the cutting-means
assembly and the discharge chute, the side
discharge chute or mulching cap must be
assembled.
1. Position the machine on a flat and stable
surface;
2. Connect a water hose to one of the two
fittings (fig. 20.A) and open the water supply;
3. Sit in the operator's seat, leave the
transmission manipulator in the "neutral"
position and start the machine.
4. Lower the cutting-means assembly
completely and engage the cutting means
5. Allow water to flow for a few minutes and then
stop the machine
6. Close the water supply and disconnect the
pipe from the fitting
7. Repeat the procedure on the other hose
fitting.
b. Cleaning the exterior
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
It is important to ensure that no debris and dried
grass residues accumulate in the upper part of
the cutting-means assembly to maintain the best
level of efficiency and safety of the machine.
