What to do if... ?
...The set line is not available locally and the SET button on the tubular
motor is not accessible, however, the factory settings are to be loaded.
Solution
◆ In order to carry out this configuration, it is necessary to separately connect the two
control lines for up (▲) and down (▼) to phase (L).
◆ Either use an external button with two switching contacts or the commercially available
cord circuit set device (20).
◆ Always have the connection work carried out by a specialist
electrician and observe the safety information relating to the electri-
cal connection on page 37.

Brief description for loading the factory settings.
1. Once the electrical connection is made, determine

the direction of rotation by means of briefly press-
ing the button.
2. Press the down (▼) button and wait until the roller

shutters have travelled to the lower end point.
IMPORTANT
Keep holding down the down (▼) button even after
the lower end point has been reached.

4. After a short time, the tubular motor acknowledges

by briefly running up and down.
The factory settings are now loaded.
5. Now release both buttons.

6. Switch off the mains power supply and reconfigure
the original connection in accordance with connection
diagram l on page 38.
7. Re-adjust the end points if necessary, see page 41.
