10. Either connect a power supply unit or use the
power supply from the online controller.

11. Connect the IO connector to the RS485 bus of the
online controller (see manual for wall and authoriz-
ation readers).
12. Hook the cover onto the top of the mounting plate.

13. Reset the reader to delete any stored data.
14. For wall readers: Read in the facility card and the
door INIT card one after the other.
15. For LEGIC wall readers: Read in the SAM63 card to
christen the reader.
16. Check the function with an authorised RFID identi-
fication medium.
17. Close the reader cover.

The device itself is maintenance-free.
NOTE
Maintenance of electric strikes
Different electric strikes require different maintenance
measures.
Maintain electric strikes in accordance with the

manufacturer's specifications.
