Cable shields required for EMC
Shielded cables can improve electromagnetic com-
patibility.
Connect the cable shields as shown in the dia-

grams.
NOTE
IO controller/connector in the protected area
The connections of the IO controller/connector are
freely accessible and can be tampered with by third
parties.
1. Always mount the IO boards in a protected area,
e.g. in a DIN device socket or the optionally avail-
able Hensel box (item no. 3050121300).
2. Do not mount the IO controller in the wall frame.
The wall reader reads RFID identification media and
switches a relay to control electric strikes.
The authorisation reader also writes NetworkOnCard
access rights to RFID identification media.
Any other use is not in accordance with the intended
purpose and is not permitted.
