WARNING: Check the C-MAC
video
laryngoscope prior to each application to ensure
that it functions correctly and has been properly
cleaned, disinfected and/or sterilized.
WARNING: Before each use, the outer surface
of the parts of the endoscope and every
endoscopically used accessory which is intended
to be inserted into the patient must be checked
to ensure that there are no accidental uneven
surfaces, sharp edges or protuding parts, which
could cause harm to the patient.
WARNING: If damage is apparent, the C-MAC
video laryngoscope should no longer be used, if
necessary it should be sent off to be repaired.
WARNING: Danger of glare! Never look directly
into the light outlet at the tip of the blade.
WARNING: The high-intensity light emitted by the
laryngoscope may lead to raised temperatures at
the light outlet of the LED.
WARNING: C-MAC
®
blades contain a nickel
compound and can trigger a nickel allergy in
allergy-prone people.
CAUTION: The C-MAC
®
video laryngoscope must
not be cleaned in an ultrasound bath.
CAUTION: The C-MAC
®
video laryngoscope must
not be sterilized with steam.
