If your PC is set to DHCP, the network is automatically configured via DHCP/
APIPA. You will find the module via the HBM Device Manager, the MX wizard
or your DAQ catman or EVIDAS software, and you can then work with the
module straight away.

6.3 Connection to a data recorder and modules with
gateway function
The following modules have a gateway function to the overall system:
S CX22B/-W data recorder
S CX27C Ethernet / EtherCAT / PROFINET / xCP-on-Ethernet gateway
S MX471C CAN FD / CAN modules
S MXFS BraggMONITOR Optical Module
To connect the individual modules, use the cable (HBM 1-KAB272-W-0.2, -2 or
-5). Connect the modules to one another as shown.
