You may otherwise irreparably dam-
age the appliance.
• Clean the collection bag (10) using a
brush.
General maintenance
• Prior to every use, check the appliance
for obvious defects such as loose, worn
or damaged parts.
• Check covers and safety devices for
damages and correct installation. Re-
place as necessary.
Removal of clogging
and blockage
Leaf material and fresh plant parts may
clog / block the device.
Cleaning the impeller wheel:
Pull out the mains plug!
There is a risk of injury!
1. Loosen the Phillips screws (18).
2. Remove the central pipe (15).
3. Carefully remove any residue or block-
ages on the impeller wheel.
4. Check to make sure the impeller wheel
is easier to turn and is in undamaged
condition. Have our Service Centre re-
place a defective impeller wheel.
5. Reattach the central pipe (15) in the
reverse order.
Storage
• For storage, you can remove the central
pipe (15), the blower pipe (11), the
suction pipe (13) and the collection
bag (10) from the motor housing (5)
again (see corresponding installation
instructions in the "Start-up" section).
• Store the device in a dry place well out
of reach of children.
Disposal and protection
of the environment
Be environmentally friendly. Return the
tool, accessories and packaging to a recy-
cling centre when you have finished with
them.
Electrical devices do not belong in
domestic waste. The crossed out
waste bin symbol means that this
product must not be disposed of
with household waste after its ser-
vice life.
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical
and electronic equipment: Consumers are
legally obliged to recycle electrical and
electronic equipment in an environmentally
sound manner at the end of its life. In this
way, environmentally friendly and resour-
ce-saving recycling is ensured.
Depending on the implementation in na-
tional law, you may have the following
options:
• Return to a shop,
• Hand over to an official collection point,
• Return to the manufacturer/distributor.
This does not affect accessories enclosed
with the old devices or tools without any
electrical components.
Throw the cut grass on the compost. Do not
throw it in the normal household waste.
