back off again.
Dust blower function
Slide the selection switch for the dust
blower function (6) in the direction of the
extraction opening to activate the
function.
When switched on, the shavings are
blown from the cutting area.
To deactivate the blower function, push
the selection switch forwards.
9 – Mode of operation
Sawing
Do not put excess pressure on the
materials being cut in order to prevent
overheating and destruction of the saw
blade. Put thin materials onto an
additional board in order to absorb
vibrations and to improve the results of
the cut.
Sawing without pilot hole (plunge cuts)
and lock in place. With the saw blade in a
tipped machine position and the machine
running, carefully guide it across the work
piece. As soon as you have sawn through
the work piece, continue with the machine
in the normal position.
OBSERVE IMPORTANT NOTES!

If you need to cut into
the centre of the work
piece and it is not
possible to drill a hole:
Set oscillation (9) to 0,
loosen the saw shoe (7),
push back all the way,
• Only soft materials may be processed
using the plunge cut procedure.
• Always set the mitre angle setting
to 0°.
10 – Maintenance and
environmental
protection
Regularly clean the dust from the
housing, ventilation slots and moving
parts and, if need be, wipe with a damp
cloth when unplugged. Lightly oil the
guide roller for the saw blade from time
to time.
CAUTION! Electrical and battery
operated units that no longer
work should not be disposed of in the
household waste! They are to be
collected separately, in accordance
with the 2012/19/EU directive
for the disposal of
electrical and electronic
waste, and sent for proper
and environ mentally-
friendly recycling.
Please discard power tools no longer
usable at a local collection point.
Collection and disposal of packaging
materials separately by types complying
with local rules and regulations. For
details, please contact your municipal
authority concerned.
