selected. Tighten the holding screw up
again. When carrying out cuts at an
angle, push the cutting protection
guard (12) up as far as it will go.
Oscillation (Figure 1 + 4)
The adjustable oscillation (P) (9) of the
saw blade (I for hard materials to III for
soft materials), in combination with the
stroke rate suitable for the material (H),
improves the compatibility of the machine
with the relevant material (Figure 1). At
the same time it reduces wear on the saw
blade, improves the ejection of shavings
and considerably reduces the formation
of heat caused by friction.
The activation of the oscillation function
may also be carried out when the
machine is already running.
Recommendations regarding the
machine settings can be found on
Figure 4.
Parallel stopper (Figures 1 + 5)
The supplied parallel stopper (19)
(Figure 1) is pushed through the holder
on the saw shoe (7) and secured using
two screws (a) (Figure 5). The parallel
stopper enables parallel cuts along a
stopper edge.
Dust extraction (Figure 1)
The extraction hose of the
household vacuum should be
fitted to the connection for
extraction (5) on the jigsaw or to the
supplied adapter (16). Push firmly into
the guide groove of the extraction
opening and use a slight left turn to
secure (Figure 1c). The folded down cut
protection guard will improve the
efficiency of the dust removal process.
8 – Operation
Connect the plug to a power supply.
Switch on the dust extractor.
• On: Press the switch (3) and hold.
• Off: Release the switch (3).
• Continuous operation: On: Press
the switch (3) and then the locking
switch (2) to lock.
• Continuous operation: Off: Press
the switch (3) - the locking switch
unlocks - then release.
Laser marking aid (Figure 6)
The beam of light from the laser marking
aid (14) makes it easier to execute
straight cuts in accordance with Figure 8.
a) Along a pre-drawn cutting line on the
work piece
b) By pointing it at a marked fixed point
on the work piece.
The range of the beam is approximately
18 cm, depending on the ambient lighting.
LED working light (Figure 7)
The beam of light from the LED working
light (14) enables better visibility and
safer operation in darker working areas.
If necessary these functions may be
activated by pressing the On/Off switch
for the laser marking aid and LED
working light (15).
