4 – Correct use
This jigsaw is suitable for sawing wood,
metals with special saw blades (not
included in the scope of delivery),
ceramics, plastics and fibre-boards within
the specified cutting performances and
with the appropriate accessories (see the
manufacturer specification!). All other
uses are expressly excluded.
This unit is designed for private use only.
This device is not designed to be used
by people (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities or those without experience
and/or knowledge. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.
Improper use of the product
All applications carried out with the
device that are not listed in the "Proper
use" chapter will be considered
improper use.
The unit may not be used for the
following purposes:
• Sawing firewood
• Processing materials containing
asbestos or other hazardous
substances

• Use as a transportable or stationary
unit
There is a risk of injury.
The user of the device is liable for
all property and personal damages
occurring as the result of incorrect
use.
If other components or non-original
components are used with the machine,
the manufacturer guarantee is voided.
Remaining risks
Even when the device is used properly,
there is a residual risk that cannot be
excluded. The following potential
dangers are inherent in the type and
construction of the device:
• Contact with the unprotected part of
the saw blade (cuts)
• Contact with flying parts of a saw
blade in the event that it breaks
(cuts)
• Kickback from flying workpiece parts
(bumps)
• Loss of hearing if the required ear
defenders are not used during work
(loss of hearing)
• Contact with electrical current due to
defect or sawn feed cable, motor
housing (electrical shock)
• Hazardous emissions caused by
sawdust
If the instructions in your operating
instructions are not observed, incorrect
use may result in other residual risks.
