GEARCASE
Add grease to the bevel gear and cutter
housings every 50 hours of operation.
1. Use a grease gun.
2. Fill the sump with grease through the grease
fittings (1).
OTHER MAINTENANCE HANDLING
The engine is air-cooled. Dust and debris
clogging the air inlets and cylinder fins will
cause the engine to overheat. Check and clean
the cylinder fins regularly.
The metal parts of the motor become hot
during operation of the appliance. Never touch
the cylinder, muffler or ignition cable during
operation or immediately after stopping the
engine.
Before starting the engine, check the muffler
and remove residue if necessary. If you do not
carry out this cleaning, there will be an
increased risk of the engine overheating, which
could lead to a fire. To avoid this risk, regularly
clean around the muffler.
