grass and small-diameter plants. It does not
cut branches and brambles whose diameter
exceeds 1 cm.
1. Always cut by guiding the cutting head from
right to left.
2. Use 1/3 of the blade. Maintain this distance
when cutting thick grass. To cut grass shoots,
it is possible to use 2/3 of the blade maximum.
3. Adjust the speed of the machine according
to the plants being cut: cut shoots of grass at
half throttle, and cut thick grass at full throttle.
USING THE HEDGE TRIMMER
Respect all the safety instructions contained in
the manual.
• The hedge trimmer can also be used for
cutting bushes.
• You will obtain the best cutting performance
by directing the teeth of the device towards the
hedge at an angle of approximately 15°.
• In order to obtain a uniform height of the
hedge, it is recommended to pull a wire along
the edge of the hedge which will act as a
guide. Cut off the overhanging branches.
• The side surfaces of the hedge are cut by
making arcuate movements from bottom to
top.
The hedge trimmer is equipped with an
articulated head, adjustable from -90° to 75°,
to adapt to all working positions.
Hold the adjustment handle (1) and
simultaneously press the two levers (2) to
unlock the head and set the desired angle.
Caution: Always stop the engine before
adjusting the angle of the cutting device. Make
sure the hedge trimmer is properly positioned
in a defined working position before starting
the engine.
MAINTENANCE
Before any maintenance work,
switch off the engine and
remove the spark plug wire.
If the maintenance and verification of the
equipment are carried out regularly, the life
of your tool will be greatly increased, and
its use more efficient.
CUTTING LINE REPLACEMENT
Note: Use a wire diameter of 2.4 mm max.
special plastic for brush cutter. Never use
metal wire.
1) Match the hole of the bevel gear and that of
the inner flange and insert a locking pin.
2) Unscrew the nylon head on the drive rod of
the angle transmission in a clockwise direction.
3) Pinch each side of the head (Push to open)
and remove the lid.
4) Thoroughly clean the inner part of the coil
body.
5) Remove the empty thread spool
NOTE: Leave the spring attached to the
inside of the head. Remove any line
remaining on the spool.
