4. Put the allen key in the hole of the bevel
gear and lock the blade tightening nut using
the T key in the opposite direction to the
direction of rotation of the blade.
1. Remove the chain cover by unscrewing the
nut which secures it.
2. After removing the cover, remove (if fitted)
the shipping spacer plate to ensure accurate
mounting of the guide bar.
3. Install the guide bar taking care to match the
light (1) of the guide and the two mounting
studs.
4. Place the chain on the chain sprocket then
insert it into the upper guide groove of the bar.
Caution: Before assembling the bar with the
chain, always check the direction of the chain
teeth! The cutting direction is identified by the
diagram above. The cutting edges of the chain
must point in the same direction as the arrow.
5. Guide the chain all the way around the bar
adjusting the tension adjustment screw if
necessary.
