6) Pass the wire through the eyelet and lay it in
the hood.
7) Pull on the wire so that it protrudes a few
centimeters. Press an end of a few millimeters
into the notch provided for this purpose. Wrap
the thread, being careful with the layers.
8) Thread the end of the wire into the hole
provided in the protection and fix it.
Reassemble the coil in the reverse order.
AIR FILTER : dust accumulated by the air filter
will reduce engine efficiency, increase fuel
consumption and allow abrasive particles to
pass into the engine. Regular cleaning of the
air filter will guarantee a longer engine life. To
clean the air filter, do not use petrol or solvent
but suitable products: soap and water, or
compressed air.
CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT:
Do not adjust the carburetor yourself. If you
have problems with the carburettor, contact the
after-sales service because an inaccurate
adjustment can cause damage or seriously
reduce engine performance.
SPARK PLUG SERVICE
1) Once the engine has cooled, remove the
spark plug using a spark plug wrench.
2) Clean the spark plug with a wire brush.
3) Adjust the electrode gap between 0.6 and
0.7 mm, using a feeler gauge.
If the spark plug is damaged, replace it.
4) Install the spark plug carefully by hand to
avoid damaging the threads.
5) Once the spark plug is fitted, tighten it with a
spark plug wrench to tighten the washer.
ADJUSTING THE ENGINE SPEED
The idle speed screw adjusts the engine speed
when the throttle lever is at low rpm. By turning
to the right (clockwise), the speed of rotation
increases, and to the left (counterclockwise)
the speed of rotation decreases. If the cutting
device continues to turn or if the engine stops
at low speed, adjust the engine.
FUEL FILTER : the fuel tank is equipped with
a fuel filter. The filter is located at the free end
of the fuel pipe. Periodically clean this filter
with gasoline because if it is clogged, it will
cause engine operating difficulties.
