The tool is changed pneumatically. If the appropriate pressure is applied, the tool is ejected and the conical surface
is cleaned with compressed air. To clamp the tool, there should be no more compressed air and the pneumatic
system must be vented (see
Cleaning of the conical surface takes place automatically with each tool change. No control signal or additional air
connection is required.
Change the tool only when the motor spindle is completely shut off. Secure the frequency inverter from
unexpectedly switching on.

Switch-on condition

To start the motor spindle, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

Sealing air
Tool
Switch on cooling and sealing air together with the machine in order to always ensure sufficient
protection against contamination and overheating.

Shutdown

Rotational speed
Cooling system
Sealing air
Switch off the cooling and sealing air with a time delay to the motor spindle to ensure sufficient
protection against contamination and overheating.

Check rotation direction

Double-check the motor spindle rotation direction according to the rotation direction arrow on the type
plate.
If the rotation direction does not match, double-check the phase connections on the frequency inverter.
