9. tROuBlESHOOtinG
Avoiding injuries and damages:
– Malfunctions may only be repaired by sufficiently qualified and authorised persons.
– Secure devicece against unintentional start-up. I.e.switch main switch off and secure with lock.
– Secure range of action of moving components.
– Safety instructions –> Chapter 2.

10. DEcOmmiSSiOninG
Avoid dangerous injuries and damages, therefore observe:
– Safety instructions –> Chapter 2.
– Secure work area.
– Disassembly in reverse sequence of assembly (Chapter 4).
– Dispose the device and the contained materials in an environmental friendly manner.

Rectification
Check the power supply connection
Replace the fuse
Refer to the "The brake does not vent" fault
Replace the switching unit
Reduce the load to the nominal load
Check the overload protection and readjust it if
required
Repair motor
Refer to the "The brake does not vent" fault
Repair motor
Completely replace the pad support
Readjust the air gap
Check the brake's connection in accordance
with the circuit diagram
Replace the brake coil
Replace the rectifier
Readjust the air gap, replace the pad support if
required
Assure correct supply voltage
Eliminate the short circuit
Repair motor
Correct the circuitry
Use appropriate fuse
Always attach the vent screw to the highest
position on the drive
Check seals and replace if necessary
Comply with the permitted angle of deflection
Wind up the rope under pretension
