NUMBER OF RINGS

On the underside of the base station is a switch for setting the number of rings after
which the answering machine accepts the call.
2 = The call is accepted after two rings.
4 = The call is accepted after four rings.
TS = The "Toll Saver" function is active (toll-free remote access)
Using toll-free remote access (TS) you can establish free of charge whether there are
any messages on your answering machine. With the "TS" setting, the first call is
answered after 4 rings and all subsequent calls are answered after two rings.
If your call is answered after two rings, there are messages on your answering
machine.
If no messages have been recorded, your call will not be answered after two rings.
Replace the receiver immediately, as your call will not now be answered until
after four rings. In this way you can save call charges.
