Conduct in case of accident or failure
1. Press the red button on the ON/OFF switch.
2. Wait until the saw blade has come to a stop.
3. Disconnect the mains plug.
4. Initiate first aid actions in the event of injuries.
Conduct in the case of blocked saw blade due to
stuck wood pieces
1. Press the red button on the ON/OFF switch.
2. Disconnect the mains plug.
3. Remove the blockage.
Wear protective gloves.
Do not remove the stuck wood piece with your hands but using a
suited wood piece.
4. Check the saw blade for any damages.

Maintenance and cleaning

Before each maintenance and cleaning work
 Switch off device
 Wait unitl the saw blade comes to a stop
 Pull out power plug
Maintenance and repair work other than those described in this chapter is
only allowed to be carried out by service staff.
For maintaining and cleaning, removed security devices must
unconditionally be mounted properly and proved again.
Use only original parts. Other parts can result in unexpected damages
and injuries.
Cleaning

Observe the following to maintain the operability of the
machine:
 Do not wash down device with water.
 Remove shavings and dust only with a brush or vacuum cleaner.
 Clean and oil all moving parts regularly.

Never use any grease!

Use for instance sewing machine oil, liquid hydraulic fluid or
environmentally acceptable spray oil.
 Take care that the saw blade remain free of rust and resin.
 Remove resin residues from the push frame surface.
Resin residues can be removed with a commercial maintenance and
care spray.
 The saw blade is a wearing part and will become dull after prolonged
or frequent use.

Renew the saw blade or have it sharpened.

Maintenance
Changing the saw blade
Remove the mains plug before changing the saw
blade.
Danger of cutting! The saw blade is massive and it could be to
slick. Wear gloves when replacing the saw blade.
 Do not use any saw blades made of HSS steel.
 Do not use any cracked saw blades or such that have changed their
shape.
 Only use well-sharpened saw blades.
Danger of burning! The saw blade is still hot shortly after cutting.
1. Remove the screw from the cover plate (12).
2. Remove the spring cotter pin (4) and the three washers (9B + 9 +
9A). When doing so, firmly hold the tilt table.
3. Slowly lower the tilt table towards the ground.
4. Use the locking pin (13) to secure the saw blade (5) against
turning.
5. Loosen the hexagon screw (6).
6. Remove the washer (7), the front saw blade flange (8) and the
saw blade (5).
7. Clean the saw blade flanges (8, 15).
8. Check the feather key (20). Replace any damaged / worn feather
key immediately.
9. Install a new or sharpened saw blade.

Pay attention to the correct running direction of the saw blade:
The arrow on the safety guard and the arrow on the saw blade must
show to the same direction.
10. Reinstall the front saw blade flange (8) and the washer (7).
11. Secure the saw blade using the hexagon screw (6).
12. Slide the washer (9) on the support pin (10).
13. Lift the tilt table and guide the support pin into the hole (A).
14. Slide first the rubber washer (9A) on the support pin (10), then
the large washer (9) and at last the small washer (9B).
15. Plug the spring cotter pins through the support pin.
16. Re-attach the cover plate (12).
17. Remove the locking pin (13).

Replacing the plastics insert

Immediately replace the worn or damaged plastics inserts (18).
1. Loosen the screws of the plastics insert and remove them.
2. Insert a new plastic insert and screw it tightly in place.

Replacing the recuperating spring

Immediately replace a worn or damaged recuperating spring.
1. Remove the screw from the cover plate (12).
2. Remove the spring cotter pin (4) and the three washers (9B + 9 +
9A). When doing so, firmly hold the tilt table.
3. Slowly lower the tilt table towards the ground.
4. Remove the washer (9) and the saw blade recuperating spring
(11).
5. Slide a new recuperating spring on the support pin (10) and then
the washer (9).
6. Lift the tilt table and guide the support pin into the hole (A).
7. Slide first the rubber washer (9A) on the support pin (10), then
the large washer (9) and at last the small washer (9B).
8. Plug the spring cotter pins through the support pin.
9. Re-attach the cover plate (12).
