Preventive maintenance

Introduction Proper maintenance of the unit is necessary in order to achieve trouble-free operation.
This section contains description of the recommended monthly and annual maintenance.
Contractual service Dantherm A/S provides contractual service agreements covering preventive and/or cor-
rective maintenance – see section "Service agreement", page 65 for further infor-
mation.
CAUTION Always disconnect the power cable from the unit before doing any preventive mainte-
nance!
Monthly preventive Please follow this procedure to carry out the monthly preventive maintenance:

Open the front grille by tilting it out-
wards
Remove the filter. Either rinse it with
lukewarm soapy water or vacuum-
clean it if the filter is only a little dirty.
Change the filter if it is very dirty, see
the spare parts section, page 173
Clean the water tank
Remove the two screws in each side
and tilt the jacket outwards about 30°
