Insert the compressor into the cabinet.
Connect the cabinet to the compressor by inserting the power cord with connector into a power
socket. (Fig. 13)
Connect the connector to the display on the front door of the cabinet.
Connect the device to the electrical mains
Activate the compressor by turning on the switch on the pressure switch and the switch (4) on
the cabinet (Fig. 22).
Compressor with cabinet - when operating in the cabinet, there must not be an electrical
connection. (Fig. 26, Fig. 27 pos A).
Note: In case of using a compressor without a cabinet or in case of maintenance, a jumper
which is not installed into the terminal strip should be kept in a designated place next to the
electrical panel.
22.10. Cleaning and disinfection of the exterior surfaces of the product
Clean and disinfect the exterior surfaces with neutral cleaning products.
Use of aggressive detergents and disinfectants containing alcohol and
chlorides can lead to surface damage and discolouration.
22.11. Inspecting the cooled and fan
The equipment, in particular the compressor fan, cooler fan, and the cooler, must be kept clean to
ensure efficient drying. Remove dust from the surface of the cooling fins and fans by vacuuming or
blowing down with compressed air.
22.12. Dew point sensor calibration
It is recommended to calibrate the dew point sensor every 2 years on compressors equipped with
this sensor. Calibration is performed by the manufacturer (Vaisala) and must be ordered online.
Sensor calibration ordering process:
Visit the website www.vaisala.com, and then navigate to the Services section and select
Calibration and repair services.
Then enter the type of sensor (sensor type: DMT143) and select a calibration type, then follow
the provided instructions.
After removing the dew point sensor, blank off the place where the sensor was installed using
the provided plug, sealed with the provided adhesive (applies to DK50 2V/50/M compressors).
23. LONG-TERM SHUTDOWN
If the compressor is not going to be used for long period, it is recommended to drain all
condensate from the air tank and switch on the compressor for about 10 minutes, keeping the
drain valve open. Thereafter switch off the compressor using the switch (2) on the pressure switch
(1) (Fig. 22), close the drain valve and disconnect the device from the mains.
24. DISPOSAL OF DEVICE
Disconnect the equipment from the mains.
Release the air pressure in the pressure tank by opening the drain valve.
Dispose of the equipment following all applicable regulations.
