PROFIBUS DP
Connections to the PROFIBUS option board (Figure 2-55) for all enclosure types
can be made using a right-angle nine-pin mating connector. This connector is
Siemens part # 6ES7 972-0BA41-0XA0. A straight mating connector can also be
used on the DIN and Panel-mount versions. This connector is METTLER TOLEDO
part # 64054361. These connectors are not supplied by METTLER TOLEDO as part
of the option.

Pin assignments for the PROFIBUS interface are shown in Figure 2-56. Follow the
wiring instructions included with the connector to terminate the wires.

The PROFIBUS cables should be routed as shown in Figure 2-57 for the harsh
enclosure and as shown in Figure 2-58 for the J-box enclosure.
