SAFETY WARNINGS FOR THE MULTIFUNCTION MACHINE
Hold the power tool by its insulated surfaces as the grinding
surface may come into contact with its own wire. Damage to a 'live'
wire can result in exposed metal parts of the power tool becoming 'live'
and may electrocute the operator.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PRINCIPLES (multifunction machine)
• When working, hold the device securely with a closed hand.
• Before switching on the machine, make sure that the tool does not
touch the material to be machined.
• Before cutting through a floor, wall or other surface, make sure that
there are no electric or gas lines within the bending range. Cutting a live
wire can cause an electric shock and damage to a gas line can lead to
an explosion.
• Do not touch parts of the appliance that are in motion.
• Do not put the unit down before it has come to a complete stop.
• Before switching on the device, grasp it securely in your hand.
• Do not touch the blade and the workpiece just after finishing work,
these parts can be very hot and can cause burns.
• To change the blade or the abrasive paper, first switch off the machine
with the switch and wait until the tool stops running, then disconnect the
tool from the power socket.
• Before starting work, check that there is sufficient space underneath
the workpiece to prevent damage from the blade to the table, floor.
• A dust mask must be worn. Dust generated during work, is harmful to
health.
• No food, drink or smoking is permitted in the room where paint
containing lead compounds is removed with the unit. Contact with or
inhalation of dust containing lead compounds may endanger health.
• A dust extraction system must be connected to the machine before
sanding.
• The unit is not suitable for wet operation.
• Always keep the power cord of the appliance away from moving parts.
• If you notice any unusual behaviour of the appliance, smoke or
strange noises, immediately switch off the appliance and unplug it from
the power socket.
• To ensure proper cooling of the unit during operation, the ventilation
openings in the housing should not be obstructed.

PURPOSE
The multifunction machine is driven by a single-phase commutator motor
whose speed is converted into an oscillating movement. The possibility
of using different working tools allows it to be adapted to carry out
different types of work. This type of power tool is widely used for: sawing
and cutting wood, wood-based materials, plastics, non-ferrous metals
and fasteners (e.g. nails, screws, etc.).
It can also be used for soft ceramic tiles, sanding and dry scraping of
small surfaces. The machine has the advantage of being able to
process the aforementioned materials in hard-to-reach areas or near
edges.
Its areas of use are carrying out small-scale modelling, locksmithing,
carpentry and any work in the field of independent amateur activity
(DIY).
CAUTION: Do not misuse the power tool. Use the power tool only
with original accessories.
OPERATION OF THE DEVICE
Preparation for work
Make sure the unit is disconnected from the power supply before fitting
accessories, dust extraction, maintenance. Inspect the unit and the power
cord before starting work. If any damage is found, the unit must not be
operated. Have it checked by qualified service personnel.
Installation of dust extraction
Dust extraction consists of two parts: the dust extraction unit fig. A1, and
the adapter for connection to a hoover fig. A7. The extraction is mounted
before the tool is attached. To mount the extraction, place it on the head
of the toolholder fig. A2 so that the fixing screw hole is located on the
underside of the multifunction machine fig. C2. Then install the adapter
fig. A7 for connection to a hoover.
Installation of accessories
Accessories should be selected according to the work to be carried out.
The accessory can be changed without tools, and the magnet in the
toolholder makes it very easy to fit. The accessories are mounted in the
toolholder, fig. A1. The order of installation of the individual components
is shown in fig. C. There are tabs on the head fig. C2 and positioning holes
on the accessories fig. C6. The holes with the tabs must be aligned to
avoid movement of the working tool during operation. The first step in
installing the accessory is to unlock the handle by lifting the locking
mechanism fig. A4. The next step is to place the working tool so that the
holes in the tool fig. C6 are aligned with the tabs in the handle fig. C2. The
tool lock is then carefully lowered. When the locking device is in position
fig. C3 lower the finger protection fig. C5b into the recesses fig. C5b,
holding it lower the locking device to the end. The lock has to be in the
position shown in fig. C4. Once you are sure that the accessory is correctly
installed you can start working.
