External dust extraction

Requirements
• The protective cover (21) is mounted.
Connecting external dust extraction
(Fig. E)
1. Disable the dust blower function (9).
2. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not in-
cluded) to the suction nozzle (5).
3. If the external dust extractor does not fit,
use the additional reducer (6).
Removing the external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. E)
1. Remove the dust extraction from the suction
connector (5) or reducer (6).
2. Remove the reducer piece (6).
Attaching and removing the
protective cover
Attaching the protective cover
1. Press the two holders on the protective cov-
er (21) into the recesses on the device hous-
ing.
✔ The protective cover clicks into place.
You can fold the fitted protective cover up by
90°.
Removing the protective cover
1. Carefully press the two holders on the pro-
tective cover (21) apart.
2. Pull the protective cover to the front.

splinter guard

1. Press the tension tear protection (24) into
the recess (23) in the slide shoe (8).

1. Press the tension tear protection (24) out of
the recess (23) in the slide shoe (8).
Attaching and removing the
line guide adaptor
The line guide adaptor (19) lets you align bet-
ter with the drawn cutting lines.
Requirements
• The slide shoe (8) is mounted.

Attaching the line guide adaptor
1. Press the line guide adaptor (19) from
above against the front of the footplate
(11).
✔ The line guide adaptor snaps into the re-
cesses in the slide shoe (8).
Removing the line guide adaptor
1. Remove the line guide adaptor from the re-
cesses in the slide shoe (8).
2. Pull the line guide adaptor (19) upwards.
Checking the charge status of
the battery
1.
Press the charge level indicator but-
ton (29) on the battery (28).
✔ The charge level of the battery is indic-
ated by illumination of the corresponding
LED lights.

2. Charge the battery (28) when only the red
LED on the level indicator (29) is illumin-
ated.

Notes
• If warm, allow the battery to cool before
charging.
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight
for long periods and do not place it on a
radiator (max. 50°C).
Charging the battery
1. Plug the charger into a socket.
2. Slide the battery (28) into the charging slot
of the charger.
3. Once charging is complete, disconnect the
charger from the mains supply.
4. Remove the battery from the charger.
