Assembling the slide shoe (Fig. A)
1. Place the slide shoe (8) on the front of the
footplate (11).
2. Press the notches (7) on the back of the
slide shoe over the footplate (11).
Disassembling the slide shoe (Fig. A)
1. Press the slide shoe (8) on the notches (7)
away from the footplate (11).
2. Pull the slide shoe (8) forward, away from
the footplate (11) and off.
Attaching and removing the
saw blade
 CAUTION! Risk of injury when
touching the saw blade. Wear pro-
tective gloves when attaching the saw
blade.
Requirements
• The saw blade has a T-shank mount (single
lug shank) like the supplied saw blades
(16/17).
• The saw blade is suitable for the respective
material. Included are a large-toothed saw
blade for wood and a fine-toothed saw
blade for metal and plastic.
• The chuck is free of splinters or other materi-
al residue.
Installing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Turn the chuck (14) as far forward as pos-
sible and hold it firmly in this position.
2. Place the saw blade (16/17) into the chuck
(14). When inserting the saw blade, make
sure that the back of the saw blade is in the
notch of the guide roller (13).
3. Release the chuck (14).
4. Make sure that the saw blade (16/17) is
attached correctly and the teeth are point-
ing in the cutting direction.
Removing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Hold the saw blade (16/17) firmly.
2. Turn the chuck (14) as far forward as pos-
sible and hold it firmly in this position.
3. Remove the saw blade (16/17) from the
chuck (14).
4. Release the chuck (14).
Attaching and removing the
rip fence
The rip fence can be fitted on both sides of the
device.
Mounting the rip fence (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20) if neces-
sary.
2. Slide the rip fence (15) into the holders for
the rip fence (18).
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
Removing the rip fence (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Pull the rip fence (15) out of the holders for
the rip fence (18).
Adjusting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide (15) so
that you can read the desired cutting width
on the footplate (11) marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting width and
correct the position of the parallel guide
(15) if necessary.

Bevel cuts

Notes
• You can set the following cutting angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 15°; 30°; 45°
• To set a cutting angle of 45°, remove the
protective cover (21) and the tension tear
protection (24).
Tools required
• Allen key (26)
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the re-
chargeable battery. Make sure that all mov-
ing parts have come to a complete stop.
2. Loosen the hexagon socket screws (10)
with the Allen key (26).
3. Pull the footplate (11) slightly backwards.
4. Set the footplate (11) to the desired posi-
tion.
5. Push the footplate (11) forward into one of
the notches.
6. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (10)
with the Allen key (26).
