LaboPress-1
Semi-automatic press with
electro-hydraulic pump
Instead of the tedious process of
us ing a hand operated pump, sim-
ply press a button. LaboPress-1 is
equipped with an electro-hydraulic
unit. The force is displayed on a
gauge and adjusted easily. When the
pressure is stabilized after the resin
has been compressed, the press will
maintain this pressure due to a built
in reservoir.
Contrary to traditional, hand operated
mounting presses it is not necessary
to stay at the press.
Saving energy
New designed mounting units
pro duce more heat using less
energy
Innovative design has merged the
heating/cooling coils and the mount-
ing cylinder into one com pact and
lightweight unit. This al lows for a very
rapid heat transfer and thus for a very
fast heating and cooling.
The power consumption of the heat-
ing unit could be reduced to 750 W
while the heating rate com pared to
conventional presses could be in-
creased by about 100 %. This means
that less than half the en er gy is suf fi -
cient to heat up the mount ing unit in
a far shorter time than a con ven tion al
press could do. After the tem per a ture
has been reached, the energy con-
sump tion will be reduced even more
as the heating will be switched off
and only be used to keep the tem-
per a ture constant.
Two heating levels
On LaboPress-1, the temperature can
be set to different levels. In all normal
mounting situations 180°C will be
used to get the fastest pos si ble result.
However, for heat sen si tive ma te ri als or
resins the tem per a ture setting can be
reduced to 150°C.
Semi-automatic
mounting press for
hot mounting of
all materials.
Equipped with low
energy consuming
heating/cooling
Easy exchange and operation
Mounting units up to
50 mm diameter
The new mounting unit is equipped
with quick couplings for the water
supply and a plug for the electrical
connection, making it pos si ble to ex-
change the com plete unit in sec onds.
Six different cyl in der diame ters in
metric and Amer i can units are avail-
a ble, ac com mo dat ing for all pos si ble
ap pli ca tions.
