Cleaning and maintenance
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Only use the appliance with
the filters installed.
■ Never wash the hygiene fil-
ter in a washing machine.
■ Never dry hygiene filters on
a heater or with a hairdryer
or tumble dryer, etc. It will
become porous and can be
damaged.
■ Let the hygiene filter air-dry
only.
If odours cannot be removed by
cleaning or the hygiene filter is too
heavily soiled, it must be replaced.
1. Pull the mains plug (13) out of
the socket.

2. Press the handle with dust bin
3. release button (15) for the dust
bin (4) and lift the dust bin up-
wards by the carrying han-
dle (1) to remove it from the
appliance.
4. Pull the locking button (39) to-
wards you and lift the dust bin
lid (2) upwards by the carrying
handle (1).
5. Pull the hygiene filter (40) out
by the "nub" (42) on top.

6. Pull the foam filter (41) out as
well, and tap both filters out
over a waste bin.
7. If the hygiene filter is very
dirty, clean it with clear water
(max. 40 °C) or clean it with
