the control value for NV first. The RV and IV con-
trol values are set automatically by the control on
the basis of the NV reference value 1/3 less than
(RV) and 1/3 greater than (IV).
Example (in %) +/- 30 %
NV 70 % --> RV 40 %, IV 100 %
The IV and RV control values can then be set
manually.
Condition: Control value Intensive ventilation >
Nominal ventilation > Reduced ventilation.
7.1.2.3 Adjustment exhaust air/supply air (EA/SA)

Supply and exhaust air volumes must be bal-
anced over the entire application area. Normally
the fans automatically ensure a balance and no
adjustment has to be undertaken. Nevertheless, if
fan tolerances need balancing, the adjustment
parameters can be used to adapt the supply air
volumetric flow to that of the exhaust air.
Example: Supply air volumetric flow: measured
excess = 20 m³/h. EA/SA adjustment, NV ventila-
tion level must be set to xx % for the adjustment.
When setting NV, the control automatically also
adjusts RV and IV. The percentage deviation for
NV is transferred to RV and IV. A manual adjust-
ment for RV and IV is also possible and the NV
adjustment does not then change. A new adjust-
ment of NV does however again result in an ad-
justment to RV and IV. Adjusting RV also
changes the humidity protection ventilation.
The adjustment cannot result in values falling be-
low or exceeding minimum and maximum values
for fan supply voltages.
7.1.2.4 Unit filter

The filter service life of the unit filter is displayed
(corresponds to service life of supply air fan).
Once the set timer interval has elapsed, a filter
change message appears. If the filter is changed
prematurely, the filter change must be confirmed.
This is done by selecting "yes" under Filter
change, unit filter. The filter service life is reset.
With the RB-ZF4 control panel, the filter change
interval is indicated by the central LED flashing.
This is reset by pressing the two arrow keys at
the same time for approx. 5 sec.

7.1.2.5 External filter

Parameters: Filter change, external filter
Setting value: No / Yes
External filter "yes" activates the filter change in-
dicator for an outside air filter upstream of the
ventilation unit. If the filter is changed prema-
turely, the filter change must be confirmed. This is
done by selecting "yes" under Filter change, ex-
ternal filter. The filter service life is reset.
7.1.2.6 Room filter

Room filter "yes" activates the filter change indic-
ator for the room filters in the air inlets, e.g. for ex-
haust air filter elements. If the filter is changed
prematurely, the filter change must be confirmed.
This is done by selecting yes under `Filter change
´ `Room filter´. The filter service life is reset.
7.1.2.7 Duration of ventilation level
Parameters: Duration of ventilation level (pause
ventilation)
Setting value: 1 ... 5 ... 120 min.
Operating time of a manually selected ventilation
level in Auto sensor or Auto time operating mode
or intermittent ventilation.
