7 Unit settings menu
7.1.1.3 RB-ZF4 control panel
Solo mode only possible if no RLS T1 SYS is
connected. Function not available with air@home
APP or air@home web tool.
Parameters: Single control unit: RB-ZF4 control
panel
Setting value: Solo, Auxiliary, Inactive/Sensor,
Digital/Building control system
Solo: Ventilation unit is operated with the sup-
plied RB-ZF4 control panel + maximum of 4 op-
tional control panel units.
Auxiliary: Ventilation unit is operated with an op-
tional RLS T1 SYS comfort control panel + max-
imum of 5 optional control panels.
Inactive/Sensor: The connections are needed for
extra sensors (sensor 3 and 4). Function only if
no control panel is connected.
Digital/Building control system: A 3-level single
BCS (building control system) circuit (e.g. KNX)
can be constructed via an actuator for adjusting
the ventilation level.
7.1.1.4 Control panel Blocking off
Parameters: Single control unit Blocking Ventila-
tion level off
Setting value: active, inactive
Active: Ventilation unit's switch-off function with
control panel blocked.*
Inactive: Ventilation unit's switch-off function with
control panel activated.
* If the switch-off function is locked, the ventilation
unit runs with at least interval ventilation (humidity
protection ventilation).
7.1.1.5 Switching contact function
CAUTION! With pre-heating/supplementary
heating. Incorrect installation will result in unit
damage. If external pre-heating or supple-
mentary heating is selected, the power supply
for the component should be switched via an
external relay.
Parameters: Switching contact
Setting value: alarm, filter message, operating
display, shutter, supplementary heating, pre-heat-
ing, brine EHE (unregulated pump). One of the
aforementioned external components can be
switched with the potential-free switching contact
(max. 5 A) of the basic circuit board (main board).
Additional settings for supplementary heating
switching points
1. Under Switching contact, select the Supple-
mentary heating parameter.
2. Under Supplementary heating
• Set Supplementary heating parameter to "yes".
• Adjust switching point to hysteresis setpoint
temperature.
• Set Supplementary heating parameter to "no".
Additional settings for brine EHE switching
points
3. Under Switching contact, select the Brine EHE
parameter.
4. Under Brine EHE
• Set Brine earth heat exchanger parameter to
"yes".
• Adjust switching points to T air inlet offset heat-
ing, T air inlet hysteresis heating and T air inlet
hysteresis cooling parameters.
• Set Brine earth heat exchanger parameter to
"no".
7.1.1.6 Bypass
Ex factory, geniovent.x units have a bypass func-
tion.
Parameters: Bypass
Setting value: No / Yes
7.1.1.7 Heat register configuration
Parameters: Heat register configuration
Setting value: Deactivated / Preheating register /
Supplementary heat register / Preheating and
supplementary heat register
When retrofitting, adjust heat register configura-
tion.
Note: For units with preheating and supplement-
ary heat register, the supplementary heat register
is always controlled via ZP1.
7.1.1.8 Heat exchanger type
Parameters: Heat exchanger type
Setting value: Sensitive / Enthalpy: Depending
on unit equipment
If retrofitting, activate suitable heat exchanger
type.
