Getting the unit ready for operation

● Install the product and connect it to the water supply.
● There must be at least 1.1 m of clearance above the product to facil-
itate emitter replacement.
● Establish the electrical connection (see the connection and assign-
ment plan)
WARNING!

►Only start up the product when the grey protec-
tive cap is in place.
►Wear personal protective equipment (protective
goggles).
DANGER!
Ozone
Risk of death from inhalation!
►Shut down the product in the event of an ozone
leak.
►Leave the operating room.
►Use suitable protective respiratory equipment.
● Attach the supplied safety signs:
Attach the access restriction to
the outside of the operating area
door.
Attach the warning for poison-
ous substances on the device.
Attach the warning prohibiting
open flame in the operating
room.

Start-up

NOTE
►The minimum lighting time for the emitter is
10 minutes. A shorter switch-on time will lead
to malfunctions (the emitter no longer ignites).
● Open the overall system's water supply and drainage.
● Switch on the circulation pump.
● Open the bleed screw to bleed the UV radiation chamber (see chap-
ter "10.3 Cleaning/replacing the emitter casing tube", page 29).
● Fully open the ball valve to supply the ozone-air mixture.
● Switch on the main switch. The product starts automatically.
For a visual function check of the UV emitter, a waveguide that lights
up blue is installed in the protective cap of the UV emitter.
● Slowly close the ball valve until you can see bubbles from the ozone-
air mixture in the water flow through the inspection window. This
regulates the water flow through the RO3UV bypass and therefore
adjusts the amount of ozone-air mixture added.
