The engaging lever is used to switch
the automatic longitudinal feed and the
feed for threading on and off. The feed
is transmitted by the leadscrew nut.

Pull the handle sleeve back and
press the engaging lever down. The
leadscrew nut is closed, the
automatic longitudinal feed of the
bed slide is activated.

Pull the engaging lever upwards to stop the automatic longitudinal feed.
INFORMATION
Move the hand wheel of the lathe saddle a little in order to facilitate the locking of the engaging
lever.

Changing the feed rate

4.10.1 Selector switch

Use the selector rotary switches to select the feed direction and feed speed.
ATTENTION!
Wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before making any change to the
selector levers.

Use the table on the lathe for selecting the feed speed or the thread pitch. Replace the change
gears if the required thread pitch or feed cannot be obtained with the installed gear set.
