How to adjust the
central handle
The auxiliary handle can be adju-
sted sideways and vertically by
loosening the knob (A). Recom-
mendation: 20 cm from the upper
handle (diag.1).

Mounting the
extension cable
See illustration (diag.2).

Operational position
The optimal operational gradient
for edging and free-cutting is ap-
prox. 30° (diag. 3). For free cutting
(no ground contact) swing device
in a semicircle before your body.

Thread adjustment
The thread is adjusted with the tilt
switch. Briefly tilt the running ma-
chine on a firm base, e. g. paving
slab (approx. 3 kg pressure). Ap-
prox. 2,5 cm cutting thread are the
automatically paid out (diag.4).

Vertical edge-trimming
The machine can be adjusted for
vertical trimming. Grip machine (B)
firmly. Pull tube (C) and turn 180°
until it audibly engages (diag.5 +
6).
Connection to wall plug
To connect tool to mains use only
approved extension cable (H 05
RN-F3 G1,0).
Trimming hints
Trim high grass in stages and move
the trimmer slowly.
Move trimming head only as close
to tree trunks and bushes as ne-
cessary.
Trimming too closely along walls or
concrete slabs wears out line un-
necessarily.
Environment
Please observe the general rest
periods.
Compost the mowing swell or use
them to cover the ground under-
neath bushes.
