Operation

Wheels (Fig . E )
Use the wheels to obtain a clean and uniform cut.
Risk of injuries due to the cutting tool.
¾ Only adjust the device with the motor
switched off and the cutting tool at a
standstill.
¾ Do not reach into the area of the rotating
line.
¾ Always remove the power pack prior to
working on the device.
Press the bracket Ag on to the telescopic

arm E 1 .
Open the lever on the bracket E 3 .
Î
Push the adapter Aa from above into the bracket
Î
until it engages E 2 .
Push the wheels Ah from above into the adapter
Î
until they engage E 4 .
Î Push the wheels into the desired height posi-
tion E 5 .
Reverse the lever of the bracket to secure the

wheels at the set height E 6 .
Operation
Adjusting the length of the telescopic arm
(Fig . F )
Undo the threaded sleeve F 1 .
Î
Î Pull the telescopic arms apart, until the ideal
handle length is obtained F 2 .
Tighten the threaded sleeve F 3 .

Adjusting the middle handle (Fig . G )
Undo the locking lever on the middle handle G 1 .
Î
Î Push the middle handle to the desired
height G 2 .
Adjust the inclination of the middle handle G 3 .
Î
Clamp the locking lever G 4 .

Incorrect handling of the power pack and
the charger

¾ Read and observe the operating instruc-
tions of the power pack and the charger.
2 positions are available to prepare the power pack
for use or transport.

3 The power pack is prepared for transport.
• Electric contacts are open to prevent the power
pack from self-discharging during storage.
Position 2 H 2
3 The power pack is prepared for use.
• Electric contacts are closed and the device is
ready for use.
Switching the device on (Fig . I )
Press and hold the right or left releasing de-

Press and hold the on/off button I 2 .

Adjusting the line (Fig . J )
Automatic
If the cutting line becomes too short due to wear,
its working length is automatically readjusted. With
each switching off and on the line is adjusted out of
the line cassette.

Risk of injuries due to the cutting tool.
¾ Only adjust the device with the motor
switched off and the cutting tool at a
standstill.
¾ Do not reach into the area of the rotating
line.
¾ Always remove the power pack prior to
working on the device.
Risk of injury on the cutting device that is
used for shortening the line length.
¾ After pulling out new line, always hold
the device in its normal working position
before you switch it on.
Manual line adjustment may be necessary during
first use, after adjustment of the plastic knife or after
changing the coil spool.
Press the red knob J 1 .

Pull the line out on both sides J 2 .

Note
Frequently switching on and off without
reason results in increased line wear.
