During charging, the vehicle electrical system is loaded with
approx. 450 mA.
When charging the power packs alone
(without being attached to the instrument), the "smart" charging
module (order no. 64 08 155) must be used.
Remove the power pack from the instrument as shown on
page 26.
Connect the power pack with the 9-pole cord to the 9-pole
plug on the charging module.
The red lamp besides the module plug will blink indicating a
proper connection.
When the power pack is completely charged:
the red lamp on the charging module will illuminate continu-
ously.
