Configuration of the device and FF functions

The FF communication system will only function properly if correctly configured. You can obtain
special configuration and operating programs from various manufacturers for the configuration.

The predefined function blocks allow uniform access to all the network and fieldbus device data.
System files
You require the following files for commissioning and configuring the network:
• Commissioning → DD (Device Description: *.sym, *.ffo files)
• Network configuration → *.cff file (Common File Format)
