Fuels suffer ageing during storage. Deposits develop which can damage the engine's fuel system.

STORAGE

Storage is defined as the keeping of the power generator in an operational state for up to 2 months.
To do this, the following measures are necessary:
• Perform all necessary maintenance and cleaning operations as described in the
<Maintenance> chapter.
• Completely fill the fuel tank.
• Add a fuel stabiliser to the fuel. Let the engine run for about 10 minutes so that the additive can
act in the carburettor. The fuel stabiliser prevents the formation of deposits in the fuel system
and on important parts of the carburettor.
• Check the battery and recharge it as necessary.

Only refuel or handle fuel when the engine is stopped!
Never refuel near open flames, sparks or other sources of ignition.
