Checking the fuel level
The fuel level can be checked at the fuel gauge (20-16) or at the engine controls (22-7).
5.5.4.
Filling with fuel (integral tank)
Only use commercially available brand-name fuel.
•
Swing the tank out (Not when option turntable ladder).
•
Open the fuel tank filler neck (21-9).
•
Fill with fuel.
•
Do not overfill the tank!
•
When filling with fuel, keep everything clean.
•
Swing the tank back in (Not when option turntable ladder).
5.5.5.
Filling with fuel (external tank, fuel filling kit)
•
Run the integral tank down to approx. 50% full
•
Fit the fuel filling kit (optional accessory) to the external fuel can
•
Connect the outlet of the fuel filling kit to the inlet to the 3-way tap (20-9)
•
Turn the fuel tap (21-8 respectively 21-18) to the "Ext. " position
