Engine troubleshooting

If the faults listed below have been dealt with but the fault persists, please contact the experienced
service experts from your authorised dealer.
Malfunction
Engine does not start or
starts with difficulty
Engine starts but runs
unevenly or stalls
Engine gets too hot
Engine performance poor,
engine emits black smoke
Low oil pressure; low-oil-level
cut-out switches off the engine
Oil consumption too high;
engine emits blue smoke
