Remove the cooking time limit
WARNING
Fire hazard!
If you use the cooking time limit func-
tion and leave foods unattended, they
may burn and catch fi re.
Make sure that children aged 8 years

or less do not have access to the glass
ceramic hob and food which is cook-
ing if unsupervised.
Cancelling the cooking time limit does
■
not end the cooking process itself.
You should therefore always switch
off the hob or the cooking zone if you
want to stop a cooking process.
To remove the cooking time limit for a cook-
ing zone, proceed as described in the section
'Setting the cooking time limit for a cooking
zone': Set the cooking time to 00.
Use the appliance as a
kitchen alarm clock (timer)
You can also use the timer function of the ap-
pliance as a kitchen alarm clock. In this case,
set the time without selecting a cooking zone.
1. Switch the appliance on.

2. Press the timer sensor 15.
Using the timer/cooking time limit function
The display of the timer sensor 15 changes
from __ to 10, and the '10' begins to blink.

3. Use the 'plus' sensor 14 or the 'minus'
sensor 16, in order to set the desired time.
Note: The highest possible time which
can be set is 99 minutes.
4. Touch the timer sensor 15 once again.
The timer indicator is no longer flashing.
After the time which you have set has
elapsed, an acoustic signal will sound
and the appliance will switch itself off.
