Our fingerprint readers in combination with a DIN control unit or a control unit that is built into the profile of the
door allow you to unlock additional (side or garage) doors, as well as the door on which the reader is installed.
Individual fingerprints can be assigned to open either an additional door, or the main and an additional door
together.
If we want to open the side door instead of the front one with the fingerprint, which we are about to enroll,
we need to perform the OPTIONAL STEP: ASSIGNING RELAY 2, which is described in administrator and user
enrollment proceedures.
THIS STEP SHOULD BE SKIPPED IF THE FINGERPRINT SHOULD ONLY OPEN THE
FRONT DOOR.
REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING

PRESS THE BUTTON »R« ON THE CONTROL UNIT FOR 1 SECOND
Fingerprint reader will perform a beep.

PRESS ONE OF THE BUTTONS ON THE REMOTE CONTROL.
Fingerprint reader will beep again. The remote control has been paired
successfully.
FINGERPRINT READER SECURITY LOCKDOWN
In a case of a sensor not recognizing a fingerprint 7 times in a row, your fingerprint reader will perform a 30
second security lockdown. You will not be able to use your device for this period but it will come back online
after 30 seconds. In the event of another 7 failed attempts, your fingperint reader will perform a lockdown
again, this time for 60 seconds. For every following sequence of 7 failed attempts, the lockdown period will
be extended for another 30 seconds. The longest lockdown period is 5 minutes. Whenever a finger print is
recognised, the countdown towards lockdown is reset.
WHILE YOUR FINGERPRINT READER IS IN LOCKDOWN, VIOLET LED
WILL BE BLINKING CONTINUOUSLY. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE
YOUR DEVICE DURING THIS PERIOD.

THIS STEP SHOULD BE SKIPPED IF THE FINGERPRINT SHOULD ONLY OPEN THE DOOR

IF THE ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINT SHOULD TRIGGER RELAY 2, PRESS
BUTTON 1.
The orange LED will flash in a combination with a beep. The enrolled administrator fingerprint
will only trigger relay 2.

IF THE ADMINISTRATOR FINGERPRINT SHOULD OPEN THE DOOR AND
TRIGGER RELAY 2 AT THE SAME TIME, PRESS BUTTON 2.
The orange LED will flash twice in a combination with two beeps. The enrolled administrator
fingerprint will open the door and trigger relay 2 at the same time.

THE FINGER SHOULD BE PLACED ON THE SENSOR.
SUCCESSFUL ENROLMENT WILL BE CONFIRMED BY A
FLASH OF A GREEN LED, ACCOMPANIED BY A SHORT
BEEP.
IF A DAMAGED OR AN EXTREMELY NON-
PROMINENT FINGERPRINT WILL TRY TO BE
ENROLLED, THE RED LED WILL FLASH 5 TIMES,
ACCOMPANIED BY 5 BEEPS AND THE OPERATION
WILL BE TERMINATED. A QUALITY, CLEAN AND
SUFFICIENTLY MOIST FINGERPRINT SHOULD BE
VIOLET
CHOSEN FOR ENROLMENT.
