3. Place the second injector
support bracket included in the
kit on the manifold and use it
as a template. Make sure that
the reference on the bracket
central axis is perfectly aligned
with the manifold central axis
mold seam.
4. Mark the four Ø 4 mm / 0.16-inch external holes that need
to be made. Remove the bracket and mill the holes with a
milling machine.
ATTENTION: USE THE BRACKET AS A TEMPLATE. DO
NOT USE IT AS A SUPPORT FOR MILLING. DO NOT
USE DRILL BITS. ONLY USE MILLING MACHINE BITS.
REMEMBER TO REMOVE ANY RESIDUE LEFT FROM
THE MILLING: THE RESIDUES CAN DAMAGE THE
ENGINE OR AFFECT ITS PERFORMANCE.
5. Place the second injector support bracket included in the kit
back on the manifold and use it as a guide to mill the second
injector hole (Ø 7.5mm, 0.30"). Respect direction and drilling
angle (90°) as shown.
ATTENTION: DO NOT USE DRILL BITS. ONLY USE
MILLING MACHINE BITS. REMEMBER TO REMOVE ANY
RESIDUE LEFT FROM THE MILLING: THE RESIDUES CAN
DAMAGE THE ENGINE OR AFFECT ITS PERFORMANCE.
